It will be a hot and sticky start to the week across Tampa Bay, with plenty of sun and temperatures in the mid to high 80s — but feeling like the lower 90s with the increased moisture.
A small chance of early rain increases by the afternoon. If showers were to pop up, they would likely originate inland thanks to a coastal breeze, according to the National Weather Service.

Expect similar conditions Tuesday with temperatures in the upper 80s and mostly sunny skies. Scattered showers and light thunderstorms could bother south-central and southern counties. Hot drier air will spread over the Nature Coast, forecasters said.
A weak frontal boundary will begin to drift over central Florida by Wednesday. increasing the chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms. That cold front will disperse over the course of Thursday and Friday.
Over the weekend there will be a chance of scattered afternoon showers with heavy rain possible across the area, according to forecasters.
